The Migration Crisis in the 21st Century: The Brazilian Perspective on Foreigners

OCTOBER 5, 2026

In the context of contemporary society, the migration crisis has been a recurring problem in the world. Given this scenario, the topic "Migration Crisis in the 21st Century: The Brazilian Perspective on Foreigners" proves to be relevant, as it is a social, ethical, cultural, and political problem. From this perspective, the discussion can be related to the ideas of Milton Santos, who states that globalization does not produce benefits equally. This reinforces the importance of reflecting on the migration
crisis.

In this way, it is necessary to analyze that all individuals should have their rights guaranteed. One of the possible causes may be the infrastructure, which is related to some causes, factors, and effects in society. It is recognized that there is also a consequence or current impact. As a result, this consequence affects society. Regarding the lack of rights and good quality of life, data released by Alexandre Padilha, from the Ministry of Health, reveals that a group of 96 foreigners is taking a course in Basic Health Care and Portuguese in Ceará, recognizing the seriousness of the situation. Given the above, it is essential that we address the problem seriously. Some of the social values affected are citizenship, equality, and dignity.

Therefore, NGOs, the Federal Government, and even the media should take action through social projects, campaigns, and laws, with the aim of bringing order and progress. In this way, we should see every person as a human being with value.

The Brazilian perspective toward every foreigner is important.
